I spotted this on Garance Dore's blog and couldn't resist sharing. Shakespeare & Co is one of my favourite bookstores in Paris. The evening creative writing workshops in the upper floor are worth a go. My husband had the chance to be taught a few years back by the very talented Janet Skeslien Charles whose book Moonlight in Odessa is definitely worth a read. And if you want to get your hands on one of those lovely clutch bags disguised as books, you can find them at Net-a-porter.
Have you ever seen Dark water? I've always been tempted to visit the Island since then. Especially by teleferic or Roosevelt Island Tramway. See the trailer here:
My first visit to Brixton market earlier this year, was a wonderful surprise. It is so close to where we live, yet I hadn't had the chance to pay it a visit. Lunch at French and Grace is highly recommended. My then fiance (now wonderful husband) and I had the Lamb and date kofte which was just right.
These images translate into my amateurish DSLR debut. Wish me luck!
